Every Translation Has a Story

Learn how to pray for the team helping us reach the ends of the earth.

Meet Arash.

That's a pseudonym because he works in a country that isn't kind to Christians.

Arash is a translator who’s been working diligently – painstakingly – matching mouth movements and meaning so that his neighbors can finally understand The Chosen in their own language.

Arash started this work as a Muslim.

He didn't stay one.

That's the kind of transformation that happens when you put human linguists — not just algorithms — at the center of translation.

I recently sat down to talk with K-LOVE about the tech, the translation, and the very real ‘cost' of bringing The Chosen to the world in 600 languages. You can read and listen here.

And here's the thing about linguists like Arash: they need more than our applause.

Our 250+ translators working on The Chosen also need our prayers.

So today, would you pray with us?

For their health
— many serve in places with little access to care.

For their safety
— some do this work in regions where it could cost them everything.

For their provision
— that God would meet every practical need.

For their relationships
— that the people they love would feel held, even from a distance.

For their spiritual health
— that they'd stay rooted in Christ, even under pressure, and that the words they choose would be powerfully effective.

As you read or listen to the story over on K-LOVE, I’m sure you’ll discover even more ways to pray for our translators.

And when you pray?

Pray like it matters.

Because it does.
