Christmas with The Chosen
A Christmas Reading Plan for the Prayer Crew

(Yes—you’re going to love this.)
If you’re part of the Prayer Crew, you already know this: prayer is where everything begins. Every episode, every translation, every life reached around the world starts with people like you saying, “God, move.”
So as we step into the Christmas season—the season where the whole story begins—we want to invite you into something special. Something simple. Something that helps you draw close to Jesus while praying for others to do the same.
It’s a brand-new YouVersion Reading Plan called Christmas with The Chosen.
This 6-day plan walks through the Christmas story using Scripture, short reflections, and meaningful clips from The Chosen. This plan is designed to help you slow down and remember the miracle of His coming.
But here’s why we’re sending it specifically to you: your prayers matter.
During Christmas, people watch The Chosen for the first time. Families gather. Faith gets stirred. Questions rise. Hearts open. And you get to pray over every single one of those moments.
This reading plan gives you space each day to:
1. Reflect on Jesus. The plan invites you to experience the story of Jesus afresh. Allow wonder to rise again—because the good news is still good.
2. Pray intentionally. Each day’s reading highlights people around the world who will experience these Scriptures—some for the first time—because of prayer and translation work already happening. Your prayers help clear the path for hearts to encounter Jesus.
3. Intercede for global viewers. Pray for those who will stream The Chosen alone in their room, families watching in their heart language, and entire communities who have never heard the story of Jesus before clearly. Your prayers are impacting their story.
4. Worship with a quiet and grateful heart. Because God come near. And He still does. This season reminds us that Emmanuel wasn’t with us just for a moment – He is the God who stays.
It’s a simple invitation for a powerful week. Just open the plan—and journey through this Advent season, letting it shape your prayers, and letting your prayers shape someone’s encounter with Jesus.
This Christmas, as we celebrate the One who came near, may your prayers be a part of His story—bringing His joy, peace, hope and love to the world. It all starts the way it always has: with prayer.
Thank you for praying and journeying with us!
