A Year to Come and See
Your guide to pray your way into 2026 with The Chosen

One encounter with Jesus can change everything.
The Samaritan woman we see in John 4 arrived at the well during the heat of the day — thirsty, guarded, and unseen. Yet in a single moment, everything shifted. She left known, healed, and free.
Why?
Because she met Jesus, the true source of eternal life:
“Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life” John 4:13-14 (NIV).
And that encounter did not end at the well. After meeting Jesus, she does what transformed people do — she runs. She left behind the jar that once defined her need and carried Living Water back to her city. She exchanged her fear and shame for a joy and love that refused to be contained.
Because this is what love does.
Just as the Samaritan woman experienced, when we know we are deeply loved, courage is sure to follow. It’s not reckless courage, but grounded bravery — the kind that stands steady in uncertainty, because identity is secure. She even risks being seen by the very people she once avoided, because love has rewritten her story.
And when the woman runs back to her village? She doesn’t carry with her arguments or strategies; she carries a joyful testimony: “Come and see” (John 4:29). Her encounter became an invitation to a love that was too big and too good to keep hidden.
Again and again in Scripture, meeting God marks a turning point. New direction, new clarity, new assignment. Our prayer at Come and See as we begin the New Year is that you, too, will meet Jesus and be released into holy forward motion this year.
In the coming days, we’ll see seasons shifting, paths opening, and invitations unfolding. While we enter the “new” ahead, may it be a year that sees fear lose its authority as love defines the story — a year where you meet Jesus deeply, are changed honestly, and run forward freely.
As we step into 2026, we thank you for keeping prayer at the center. Together, our prayers will help bring the message of Jesus — through the production, translation, and distribution of The Chosen — to 1 billion people who are anxiously, achingly waiting at their own “wells.” Prayer is not a pause from our mission; it’s the place where it is born.
We’re excited to stay connected as a prayer community throughout the year as The Chosen story unfolds!
Here are 3 ways to begin the year in prayer with us:
1. Ask God to guide every edit, decision, and frame throughout the production of Season 6. Pray for full funding for Season 7, the climactic finale to our favorite TV series. May the team encounter Jesus and be strengthened to joyfully run forward on mission.
2. Thank God for how The Chosen has already reached millions in 86+ languages. Pray for Come and See as they provide resources, technology, and support to share the story of Jesus in 600 languages, free for all.
3. Pray that everyone who watches the show would meet the real Jesus — whether for the first time or all over again. Ask God to open hearts, spark faith, and inspire people to follow Him as they experience lasting life in Jesus.
And we close by offering our heartfelt thanks and prayer for you in 2026:
Lord God, may this be a year where identity is rooted in being known and loved. May it be a year where purpose flows with ease from encountering You. A year where joy sets the pace. And we pray especially for those coming now, carrying their jars of need — whether it be physical, emotional, financial, spiritual, or relational. May they leave carrying Living Water. And may you empower us to run — together — into the places love sends us. And together, may we see You open doors for 1 billion people to taste and see the living water that truly satisfies. Amen.
In His love,
